Welcome to the Parco Murlongo - Costermano sul Garda
Welcome to the Murlongo Park, designed and built in the early 70s by Angelo Mangiarotti in the hills of Costermano sul Garda.
The villaggio consists of various houses scattered over the hill among cypresses. Single houses, semi-detached houses and terraced houses with a total of 62 units were planned according to the same design principles and are uniform in materiality, colors and shapes.
The floor plans are built on a square grid, but the respective configuration is tailored to topography, views, entrances, neighborhoods and private areas.*
There are no fences in the park. Narrow idyllic paths and steep stairs lead to the houses, to the pool area and over the hill.
The concrete walls with inlaid rubble stones are a trademark of Mangiarotti — they were used in all houses and also in the swimming pool area at the foot of the hill.
This beautiful idyllic and mature parco has a pool area with an additional children’s pool, toilets and showers, table tennis, as well as a small children’s play area.
A tennis court and covered parking facilities complete the complex with its beautiful footpaths.
